New episode! Making the most of Australian small caps

June 2021

Australia small cap companies make up around three quarters of Australia’s market capitalization but are often overlooked by investors.  By including small caps in their portfolio, investors can tap into breadth, diversification and growth opportunities.

But what are the risks and key drivers that investors should consider when looking to invest in small caps; and how can value-based investors ensure that they invest in small cap companies with positive environmental, social and governance profiles?

In the latest edition, The Ideas Exchange Martin Dinh speaks with Emilie O’Neill, ESG and Equities Analyst with eInvest. They discuss the risks and benefits of investing in small caps, the importance of active management, and the value of applying an environmental, social and governance approach into a portfolio.
