Since 2012, the ASX has been supporting high-quality, independent research on under-covered, small-cap companies through the Equity Research Scheme. The scheme currently supports research on over 100 ASX-listed companies a year.

ASX Equity Research Scheme

The ASX Equity Research Scheme is designed to support the production of high-quality, independent research on under-covered, small-cap ASX-listed companies.

In recent years the scheme has supported the research offering on over 100 ASX-listed companies per financial year.

The scheme publishes the reports in the form of a weekly email bulletin.

Receive research reports

If you are interested in receiving copies of the research reports generated under the scheme, simply register your details via the online form.

Once registered, you will receive an email on Friday afternoon with links to the reports received by ASX in the past week.

Please note, we do not have a database of published research for browsing. Subscribing to the weekly email is the best way to access research from the scheme.

Participating Research Providers FY24

The equity research under the scheme is produced by ASX participants who run stockbroking businesses which include the provision of research (research providers). In FY24 the participating research providers are:

Information for Listed Companies

In order for listed companies to qualify for selection on the scheme, they must first meet the following criteria as at 30 June:

Market capitalisation between $30 million and $1 billion
Outside of the S&P/ASX300 index
Free float greater than 10%
Less than 3 Australia-based analysts covering them at present

Information for Research Providers

The scheme is only open to ASX Market (trading) Participants who provide equity research in the course of their business. Other criteria relate to the quality of the research provider’s research.
